NEW BLAGGIT RELEASE DATE UPDATE
APRIL 2nd 2012
No it's not a late April Fool's joke - the UK Blaggit DVD release date has been pushed back again unfortunately.
The date we were given was March 26th which has come and gone - we can't disclose the reasons why the release has been delayed again, but the distributors are now looking at an April/May release fingers crossed.
It's all a bit frustrating as everyone is eager to get the film out there after all this time, but good things come to those who wait!
On the plus side, we have received a couple of offers for North American DVD distribution which is great news. We're just waiting to hear back from a couple of other distributors before making a final decision.
More news when we get it!
NEW BLAGGIT REVIEW FROM FILM PILGRIM

We have a new Blaggit review, thanks to Film Pilgrim! It's a very honest and fair review that heaps praise on lead actor Rob Leetham's performance:
"He manages to own a character that pulls every emotion from the audience, beginning by appearing warm and charming before inviting pity, disgust and remorse. Leetham is without a doubt the star of the show."
And so say all of us! Expect a lot more reviews over the next month or so as we lead up to the DVD release date - which might be being pushed back to April - as soon as we can confirm then you'll hear it here first!
BLAGGIT IS GOING TO THE BOSTON SCI-FI FILM FESTIVAL

2012 has started with some great news for Team Blaggit - our film has been officially selected for the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival!
The fest claims to be the oldest genre film festival in the world (this year is it's 37th year!), it takes place in mid Feb and is a ten day celebration of all things science fiction. This will be the North American Premiere of Blaggit, and we'll be playing alongside the likes of 'Attack the Block' so obviously we're really delighted with the news!

BLAGGIT WINS AT NEVADA FILM FESTIVAL

Yes, you read correctly people! The Blaggit festival run continues - we found out yesterday that we're to receive a Platinum Reel Award from the Nevada Film Festival, which we're rather chuffed about!
That win follows on from the Honourable Mention at the LA Movie Awards and of course the Best Feature Film Award at the British Independent Film Festival earlier in the year.
We are hoping that the festival run continues throughout the first half of next year in the lead up to the UK DVD release of the film on March 26th.
We have some very exciting news regarding special screenings of the film to celebrate it's release in March - but we just can't share it with you right now, sorry!
We'll share the news when we can, but for now you'll just have to watch this space!
