MARK JEAVONS - WRITER AND DIRECTOR

Mark Jeavons has proved himself to be an original and uniquely creative voice in filmmaking who has great skills at producing quirky characters and engaging storylines.
Having directed four short films in 2003, Mark progressed to features with his debut: 'The Boy with a Thorn in His Side' - a 90 minute comedy which received numerous positive reviews and went on to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005.
'Whatever Happened to Pete Blaggit' is a huge leap in Mark's career, showcasing his technical ability and working with a talented ensemble cast.

CHARLIE STANFIELD - DOP
Up and coming cinematographer Charlie Stanfield came onboard as DOP. A graduate of NFTS, Charlie gained invaluable experience as a camera trainee on ‘Gosford Park’ before beginning his career as DOP. Charlie has gone onto shoot numerous short films, and his talented skills won him the Kodak Shorts Award for Best Cinematography in 2003, for ‘Wide Sky’ and he has recently lensed the short film: ‘Player’ starring Pete Postlethwaite.
His experience, commitment and was invaluable during the shoot, and his skills brought the technical prowess that was required for the production.
CHARLIE BLUETT - VISUAL EFFECTS
One of the crucial aspects of the production was the execution of the numerous visual effects required for several key scenes in ‘Pete Blaggit’. The production recruited Charlie Bluett, one of the leading Special Effects Technicians on the BBC’s Doctor Who.
Charlie is a very talented Concept Artist as well, and he was a thorough professional. Working on a very limited budget, Charlie brought to life several surreal characters for the film, including the Tin Man, Werelion and Blaggit Embryo - and he did an amazing job.
Charlie worked closely with Mark Jeavons to achieve the filmmaker’s surreal vision - and the results speak for themselves. Charlie’s creations really add to the uniqueness and originality of the film, making ‘Blaggit’ an eagerly anticipated prodcution.
JAMES BOOTH - CASTING DIRECTOR
James has been working in the film industry since 2001, and has worked on nearly all of writer/director Mark Jeavons' previous film projects. James played a vital part in putting together a truly talented bunch of actors for the film.
MARY COOKE - MAKE-UP ARTIST
Mary is a capable, versatile Make-Up Artist, with experience in all areas of Film, TV, Fashion and Theatre. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary; we were blessed to have her work on our film - a true team player!
GERI SPENCER - COSTUME DESIGNER
Geri did an amazing job as Costume Designer for Pete Blaggit, having to look after not only our cast but over 30 extras on certain days! She helped bring the characters to life, and was a truly great person to work with on set.
PHIL MOUNTFORD - MUSIC COMPOSER
Phil is a prolific and in demand composer of film music, having scored the soundtracks to several feature films. His music is one of the highlights of the film - it really elevated the project to a whole new level. A joy to collaborate with, he really did and excellent job with the music score.
NUMAN KHAN - SOUND SUPERVISOR
Numan Khan was the guy in charge, overseeing the sound in post production, and he really did a fantastic job. Responsible for cleaning the dialogues, recording ADR, Foley and adding sound FX, Numan put in a lot of hard work to make the sound design a key aspect for Pete Blaggit.
